Default Hauppauge remote not working after wake up

I send the PC to standby (S1) via Power Sheduler after some idle time. When I wake it up by moving the mouse, everything comes back ok, except the Hauppauge remote from Nova-T which doesn't work. When I exit MP and Hauppauge's IR program loads again automatically, the remote still doesn't work. Restart is needed.

Have you got the PCI or USB version of the Nova-T? I had so many problems with the Nova-T I got rid of it and got a twinhan VisionDTV PCI instead.

I've got the PCI version. What kind of problems did you have?

I was getting a lot of blue screens, took me ages to work out it was being caused by the Nova-T. I tried many different versions of the drivers for the device, but nothing worked. I'm not sure if it was actually the device itself or an incompatibility with something else in my system, but since I replaced it MP and my system as a whole has been rock solid.

It was gennerally a bit rubish any way. Sometimes it would just stop working for no reason that I could see . If you unplugged the usb cable you would get the "du-dum" sound as the device was uninstalled, plugged it back in... nothing. Had to reboot. The remote would stop working quite frequently as well while the tv functions would still be going.

From my personal experience I would not recommend the Nova-T USB to anyone. Do you have similar problems with the PCI version?

No, don't have such problems. The only annoying problem I have is the occasional stutter, every few minutes the picture stutters for a second. I have yet to confirm if it is Nova-T, software or antenna related.
