Hello to everyone !
after a long time of thinking I finaly take the courage to build my first HTPC my biggest reason for building the HTPC was that I would like to have all of my music on one device with quick access and easy handling now, in this topic I would show you guys how far I come till today the components I chose : Case: origenAE S21T Mainboard: ASUS P5E CPU: Intel E6550 CPU Cooler: ichbinleise Frost Tower RAM: 2GB Power: Silverstone 300 Watt ( fanless ) Audio: X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Graphics: Asus Geforce 8600 Silent ( fanless ) HDD: Samsung 750 GB TV Card: ....comming soon ! the hole assembling went easier than I had expected the only thing that went wrong was that I had to remove one of the casefans on the bottom of the case because it blocked the SATA ports on the mainboard for the HDD drives ![]() not very professionally, but it works ! I used some wire to keep the casefan in his new place ![]() the rest of the hardware makes no trouble ![]() in the beginning I was very afraid if I can get the touchscreen to work, but somehow I made it,it works perfect and looks excellent ![]() ![]() ![]() so,that's what I have done so far, there are only some software problems ( I think ! ) that I have to fix and I plan to install a TV Card for HDTV |

Yes, it is sadly very expensive but now I can say it worth every cent
