Another HTPC Project.

Currently i run a Ubuntu server that hosts all my Video/Music files and have been using a modded xbox running XBMC to access all my stored files. Ive decided to replace the xbox with something that can record TV and take advantage of the HD capabilities of my TV. After looking into all my options I've decided on another windows machine running MediaPortal. The new HTPC will still access all the music and videos from the server and all TV recordings will be saved to the local HDD.

I've made my mind up about most of the components but am looking for suggestions on some others.

So far..

Motherboard:

ASUS M2NPV-VM (purchased 29/12/2006)

CPU:

AMD AthlonXP X2 3600+ (purchased 29/12/2006)

Tv Card:

TerraTec Cinergy 2400i DT - Dual DVB-T (Purchased 29/12/2006)

Ram:

???

HDD:

???

Case:

??? leaning towards the Thermaltake Mozart with Media Lab software & remote.

i recently setup my own htpc and for case i bought the antec fusion,

really happy about it comes with 2x120mm silent antec tricool fans
a 430w silent psu and a vfd
