FireDTV S2 - Error - CAM not inserted - matrix reborn cam

Hey all,

got FireDTV S2 yesterday. trying to use Matrix Reborn CAM with it which support are telling me is compatible, however the CAM is not being detected. Go into support tool and says CAM module not inserted. I have trible checked CAM is in right way up, so is smartcard, I have reinstalled drivers, tried it on a different PC, checked the connector pins inside in case any are bent but still no luck.

Support are scratching their heads with this one and they say my box was tested before being shipped.

Everything else works ok, unscrambled channels can be viewed, all channels inclusing scrambled ones scan ok and there were no issues installing the driver.

I am going to try a purple 2.21 irdeto cam tomorrow to see if theres any luck but im not very confident it will be any different.

using vista 32 ultimate with all latest updates. Dont know really what else i can try. Does anyone have any suggestions?
