ok these are the specs of my ongoing HTPC project
p.s. i got a surprise for you at the end :lol:

CPU: P3 1.1GHz @ 1.48
MOBO: PC PARTNER APOLLO PRO
VID CRD: GEFORE 4 MX 440 128MB
SOUND: ON BOARD :cry:
OPTICAL DRIVES: CD DRIVE 52X
CASE: IPEX DESKTOP ( wont look like it when im done )
PSU: GENERIC 350W

here comes the surprise currently this project has cost me ................. $0 w00t :twisted:

Are you going to run MP on it? Are you sure the CPU will be enough?

I'm running MP on a PII 650 Mhz, works perfektly. Note that I'm not using any TV-card based features.

i wont be running MP on it for 2 reasons
1) knoppmyth is better
2) come on its linux ( more stable, less hardware intensive and it has a penguin :lol: )
plus i wont have tv on it anyway just movies music and tv shows

I'm a bit confused by your post...

First, was the first line in English?
Second, was the last line in English? I won't have TV on it, just TV shows?
Third, why post in the MP forum if you are goin gto use Myth? Do you have a post in the MCE forum as well?
