burning from MP menus or not?!

Since the end of the original burner plugin is near - as I have understand, and the fact that this plugin has never really worked, and misses a lot of options I have just added programs like NERO to "my programs" and using my mouse but thats not very HTPC like ;-)

The best would be is that MP could use its remotecontrolunit (RCU) via the build in menus just like burner plugin but a working one....

So my question is - are there anybody developing a such plugin anymore? I think this is an important feature to make MP better than MCE! Because think of Windows Vista with the NEXT generation MCE build into it which I think nearly everybody would be running in a couple of years, if MP Still should be in the leading edge of HTPC computers it should be featuring burning via menus and a lot more!

btw: the Web-EPG is really a great feature for MP which eg. MCE can't do! :-)
