Default CD-Slayer 0.65: How to change the default für music-home-directory?

Today I found the cd-slayer-plugin and I installed version 0.6 immediatly on my MP.
What a great Idea to make such a plugin, MP needs it!

But I was a little bit too quick by entering CD-Slayer at the first time. There was a dialog to define the main-folder for music and I choose F:\ by mistake!!!

Btw F:\ is my DVD-drive. How stupid from me! Now I have the problem, that every time I want to rip a cd, cd-slayer wants to save the files to F:\, what is already not possible.......

How can I change afterwards the default-setting for the music-home-directory?????

I'm not 100% sure that this is still true, but you should be able to open up your Mediaportal.xml file (it's in your root mediaportal folder) and find this section at the bottom:

<section name="CDSlayer">
<entry name="target">whatever you chose</entry>
</section>

Delete only that section and then you'll get the dialog again asking what folder to rip to.

How is this possible, is your are using the actual RC 1 Version. The File Mediaportal.xml did not exist
and I configed once the wrong path (CDROM) for the target.

An now I am unable to rip cd's.

Thanks,

Ritchie

MediaPortal.xml is now in program data\team mediaportal\mediaportal if you're using Vista. If you're still on XP, it should be in Documents & Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal.

You might look at switching to MediaSlayer as it's actively developed.
