I've just uploaded the new build that adds support for MP3 and FLAC. Copy lame.exe and flac.exe to your main MediaPortal folder just like oggenc.exe. You MUST choose a default directory the first time you run the plugin. This folder will be saved and always used. Your encoder setting is saved also but you can change it with the new button that is added. I tried to keep it very simple but with a couple of more options.

Hi - thanks for your efforts. I am not sure how the upload/download sections works. Will it be a while before this new version is available for us? Currently, the file is CDSlayer.202.zip with date 30 Oct 2007.

Yeah, an admin will have to approve the upload first. You'll know when it gets approved because you'll see MP3 and FLAC added to the description.

I was not aware of that issue but then again I never thought to try hitting the rip button without a cd in the drive. I'll see about cleaning that up a little.

No I definitely appreciate it. I'm sure you're not going to be the only person to try that. It's not a hard fix at all, either, so I appreciate you letting me know about it or I would have never found it.

hi

I've been trying CdSlayer with latest SVN 2.3.0 and latest TV3 (single seat) on XP using Standard skin.
but when pushing Rip -> ERROR - Drive not ready.

I've checked installation few times. Drive is a GSA-H55L

Any suggestions what I could do to get it work.

Really would be great cause its a great tool for MP.
