does the plugin work with the new fritzbox 7270 too? i´m thinking about buying it, and seeing incoming calls on my mp will be very useful.

It most certainly does work since the interface (callmonitor) is a standard interface implemented for all FritzBoxes since firmware version xx.03.99.

How does that plugin work? are there any screenshots? and has it popups or is it a normal menu entry in MP. short: Do i get a message when im looking tv/video who is calling?

It listens to the FritzBox event-monitor port 1012 and outputs a message when a call is signalized there.

Incoming calls are signalized via popups, yes you get a message regardless of what you are doing inside MediaPortal (video / tv / fullscreen visualization / menu ...).

The popup design depends on the skin you are using.

Hello together,

callmonitor is a very useful thing. I love it. But is it possible to display MWI-INFO's?

It will be nice if i can get a message if i have something in my mailbox. The Fritzbox shows this by flashing the LED.

This is not possible atm, because this plugin is only listening to the port which sends call information.
This feature is also not planned for this plugin.

For checking the mailbox you could try the MyMail plugin.
