Has anyone thought of doing an Ebay plugin?

As a recent convert from MCE to MP the one thing I'm missing from the former is a plug-in that monitors my Ebay account.
Something along the lines of this;

Is there such a thing out there for Mediaportal and if not has anyone considered writing one?

Probably the main reason no one has done this already is because it costs the developer money to access eBays servers, quote from the page you linked to:

I take your point, but he does give the plugin away for free so it must be worth it to him on a loss leader basis.
