| I got the latest version from the download section. It seems to be working fine for me. I have started and stoped Media Portal several times now without any problems. I however still odn't have any logs. Guess it doesn't matter though since the problem seems to be fixed. Than you very much. I will post back here if I come across any problems. |

| I may have said that too soon. I rebooted and the problem returned. I however have found what I think is a fix. I added the Everyone class of users to the security settings for the MediaPortal Folder. Giving full control access to the directory. I then restarted mptray4irtrans and the problem is gone. I am fine with leaving the permissions this way and have it working, but I don't know why it would fix it. |

Country: | Hi Veabers, glad to hear it works. The only thing i'm doing is writing to the log directory. nothing else. so this could be the problem. best regards, Helmut |

| Hi! I am a newbie to MP but have it running pretty good so far. I was also curious about the green button on my philips MCE IR. Reading this forum I downloaded Mptray4Irtrans and got it running with no problem - well alomost no problem: When I hit the green button MP starts and right afterwards MCE2005. I already deactivated the MCE related services but that did not help. How can I "turn off MCE?" Hope my question is not too stupid for this forum. Greetings to all, Michael |

Country: | Michael, have a look here It describes how to edit the IRTRans app.cfg. You should find some lines inside, dealing with MCE. Delete this section and it'll work. rgds, Helmut |
