Thanks for this ccmatrix - I tried the program but whenever I try and rename a TV series, I get a greyed out "start scan"

I don't have the other versions installed.

Also can you tie into .............www.thetvdb.com........... instead of episode world?

"start scan" is greyed out until you select a valid path. use the "..." button to open the select path dialog.

I am looking into thetvdb as an alternative source but I don't have any experience or documentation for their exchange format.

When you use the ".." and use the dialog you need to add an extra "/" to the end of the path in the textbox before the start scan button appears enabled.

Even then, when i press start i get an unhandled exception.

Here is the API.

Programmers API - TvDBwiki

ALso, I get a crash when I start a scan. I only have .NET 3.5 installed.

Thanks for the API link. The crash is probably because some folders do not exist. If you didn't have the previous version installed before than this happened. I updated the SVN with a new version which should fix this. Let me know if you can scan now. I'll have a look into adding thetvdb as an alternative.

CC, I downloaded the new SVN, and it seems that it is not pulling from the database correctly, I don't see it renaming files correctly. Feel free to email or hit me up on AIM if you would like.

Could you add the ability to properly scan from the root of a drive? I'm having issues when it hits the "System Volume" folder.

Hi!
First of all, amazing app!
However, I do have something to suggest.
I see that the renamer also renames .sub and .srt files, which is great. However, it does not rename .idx files which ruins many of my .sub files as they are dependent on those. Is this possible to fix?

Hi,

I've been using this great app for some time now on my windows machine.

I was wondering if something like this exists for linux, as I host all my media on a linux box.
