Is the xbmc project going to tie in with the tv-server? It would be awesome to have and xbmc front end that could view video!! Mythtv offers this function and is really cool apart from mythtv looks like its gui is from the early 60's. Saying that if your more of 'function above form' kinda person then it would be cool for you...

Is this plugin still under development? I've searched all over the internet for info on mp and xbmc tv server integration but no joy!!

Does anyone know if mp tv3 and xbmc will ever work together? Is there a .net issue with the xbox being able to control MP?

I am looking into at the moment, some changes need to be made on the server side and I have to find a way around xbmc not supporting RTSP.

Thats cool. This is quite a big thing for me as ive got my xbox all setup with XBMC and it is excellent, as a jukebox, but it could be so much more!!!

Thanks Chad. Great to see the update.

FYI... Tried with MP 2.2.0 stable and got the below .NET exception when trying to configure the IP address.

System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'MediaPortal.Profile.Settings' from assembly 'Utils, Version=1.0.2546.32604, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

Hey I'm getting an error in the zip file!
Can't unzip it at all.

Never mind. Got it by opening it rather than saving to disk.
Will give it a test and let you know how it goes.

I have recompiled after finding the correct svn snapshot for 0.2.2.0 and it appears to work now.

CYaBro, you appeared to download it as I was uploading the new version, please try and download again.
