could you check if you have a file called "myusenet.xml" in your plugins/windows directory?

If so delete it and try to configure the plugin it again.

I'm going to need some kind of logs to at all help you with these problems. Your logs are located, depending on what version of windows you are running, in one of these spots.

Vista - ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\Mediaportal\Log
XP - Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\log

For your errors upon entering Configuration, reproduce it and attach the configuration.log. The reason you're most likely seeing the cookie error is because you haven't entered your username/password in the plugin's config.

That exception you posted a screen shot of isn't being produced in these logs. Did you figure that one out already? I see that you're able to refresh your cookies based on these lines:

2008-05-13 12:28:52.988569 [Debug][Config Main]: My Usenet: Config loaded.
2008-05-13 12:30:05.640824 [Debug][Config Main]: My Usenet: Beginning initial cookie request.
2008-05-13 12:30:06.492332 [Debug][Config Main]: My Usenet: Recieved response code for inital cookie request - OK
2008-05-13 12:30:06.492332 [Debug][Config Main]: My Usenet: Cookies 2
2008-05-13 12:30:06.493308 [Debug][Config Main]: My Usenet: cookcont count 2
2008-05-13 12:30:06.493308 [Debug][Config Main]: My Usenet: Beginning validation request.
2008-05-13 12:30:07.870173 [Debug][Config Main]: My Usenet: Recieved response code for validation cookie request - OK
2008-05-13 12:30:07.870173 [Debug][Config Main]: My Usenet: Cookie Count Successful - 2 NzbSessionID NzbSmoke

I'm not sure why it's telling you that they needed to be refreshed. Open up the file myusenet2.xml in mediaportal\plugins\windows and make sure that the nodes nzbsmoke and nzbsessionid both have long strings as their value. By that, I mean something along the lines of NlZBelksd89271%2FPsE456WfsMRd.

myusenet1.xml is the file, not myusenet2.xml. That was a typo.
