Question: Is there a way to get new mails first?
Q2: Is it possible to get html formatted (so far I get it as plain text with all html tags)
Q3: email notfification on home screen doesnt seem to work anymore. Can anyone confirm?

Agree,
It seems your plugin does not work when compiled in release mode.

It won't appear on the home menu, and always say you have new mail.

nevermind,

It was the postsetup.bat copying the dll from the debug folder.
Since I still had the non functional dll in there release did not work.

Am I right in assuming that the mail plugin des not supprt html mail at this time? if not is it planned?

A small feature request for mail:

1. It would be nice if you can set different sound events for each mailbox
2. "You've got mai"l is nice but I think it's nice when you say "mailbox name got mail" this way you can quickly see who has got mail.

Hi,
I have had the mailboxes not showing now multiple times.
I have to press the "set all unread" to get the mailboxes showing again.

@ this moment you also get the "you have new mail" message, while I really have no mail. Pressing "all read" gets me my mailboxes back. But the boxes are empty and I still see the message that I have new mail.

Getting a real mail, and deleting it fixes it.
Seems the text got triggered, but never turned off.

I don't have a solid way to reproduce, though it always happens within 30 minutes so you can easily get it.

Great plugin.

My two cents for improvement.

- a wider text space

- flush html
- international character support
- when I have a great number of mails (>70), I have a timeout.
- works great with a clean e-mail but with spammed e-mail it's not really usable, is it feasible to use another mail engine (like thunderbird) this way we could use a powerful spam filter ?

I should have mentioned this a long time ago, not sure why I didn't. There is an opensource mail checker called POPTRAY that I have been using for a long time and like a lot. It also has plugins for SSL for POP and IMAP. . .maybe it can be integrated to provide broader support? It also has a plugin that will blink keyboard lights when you have new mail. . .and will rotate notification of the number of new messages. . .just an idea.
