One style recommendation is that your dialog would look better without the "?" after each of the options, just my opinion.

And a feature request - can you retain the search results after a given video is played? I.E. once I search on "nelly" and play a video, it would be great if the complete search list re-appeared.

Thank you - I can't wait!
I'll take the "?" out. The search result should now remain until you go to the previous screen, or the playlist screen.

Looking forward to the improvements.

Without thinking this thru fully, If you add a music video to favourites list if obviously indicates a requirement to replay the music video repeatedly.

On that basis would it be worthwhile cache-ing the stream locally to mitigate the requirement of re-downloading each time? Perhaps there are copyright issues (or its perhaps not a simple thing to do)?

Just a thought, Keep up the excellent work

Is there a solution for playing music videos saved on your hard disk? I have 1000s of svcd/xvid mvids saved, just need a nice way to play them randomly.

I do this by adding the file types of my music videos e.g. mpg, wmv etc to the list of supported files under My Music in the mediaportal setup configuration. Next create a playlist of all your music video files (i use windows media player to do this) and add this playlist to your My Music playlist folder, i call mine "All Music Videos".

Now when you start MP and enter my music , if you browse to playlists and open the "all music videos" it should list them. Then use the party shuffle option (i think this can be set as default) and you have your own version of MTV!

cheers

Great work!
Multiple favorites is fantastic. What would be even greater...! If it would be possible to create new favorite catagories from within MP, with the remote.

There are a lot of bugs, but it's still very usable.

Would you mind giving me more details? I'm not aware of any bugs.

Love it gregmac45, keep up the good work.

It would be really nice to be able to use the remote to skip forward and back a video in the playlist using the |< >| buttons whilst watching a video.

Thanks for all your hard work so far, and I'm really looking forward to seeing this plugin evolve... awesome!

It even got me to register for the forum to post!!!
