I'd also like to thank you for this plugin, I really appreciate it

though I have a couple of open issues.
I'm using Mame32, set up everything in MP, games are playing, but it seems that mame.ini is not parsed. Is it correct?
To use some graphical parameters I have to provide them in the command line.
Another point is the highscores handling. If I start the games from Mame32, outside MP, they are saved. If I start the games within MP, the highscores are not saved.
I know these points are minor issues, but it would be nice to have them working.

I can not get this to work.......please help.

Imports.....OK

Launch on home-configuration does not work, neither does it work, when i try from within mediaportal.

It works when i open mame32 directly!?!?1

And YES i have checked my detailes.

I have RC4 with latest build from today.

Anyone ells has this problem?

remove all the arguments except -joy and the game should launch.

one of the parameters is obsolete, I don't remember which (you can find out yourself)

Hi*

The my program launcher* doesn't set the working directory, so to get mame to auto load the settings and thus save high scores, remember custom video and controller settings you must

‎1) edit the mame.ini (or mame32.ini depending on the version you use) and set the paths at the top of the file to the FULL paths of your mame directory's

‎2) set the mame command line options in the my programs configuration to
‎'-inipath [FULL PATH TO MAME INI DIR] -rc'

‎This should solve all the silly MAME issues people are having ;-)

Hi all -

I set up Mame in MP 0.2.0.4 last night. I can get it to work by removing every switch except the -joy option.

However, I want to be able to use my Xarcade joystick.

I've tried adding the -ctrlr xarcade.cfg switch, but this stops the games from launching at all.

I have the required xarcade.cfg file in my ctrlr folder. I have tried using Mame 0.108, and Mame32 0.108u1, both with no success.

I've also tried editing the mame.ini file to set the ctrlr option but this also did not work.

Mame32 works fine with the controller when I run Mame32 standalone.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be very welcome.

I use an xarcade stick

you need to set your ini path to use the mame.ini file read the post above
