| XP - OK, well let me know... I would be interested in getting that function working on as many systems as possible. That function was one thing I had to change going from a Windows program to a Command Line-based one. -Jim Quote:

Country: | Hey everyone..... Small update... Jim aka key master has provided a very good backend for getting movie showtimes for you local area. I intend on using this to create a database that will be updated via some form of scheduling system and then use myTrailers to tie into the trailers... Wow, half of my work is done... Thanks to Jim! |

Country: | key master - I tried it on another computer (the laptop is my wife's and she doesn't like anything other than what she puts on on her computer - I'm sure many guys knows what I am talking about) and it works fine. It sure took awhile at the end to finish up (even through it "appeared" (meaning that the trailers and posters were downloaded) to have finished. I was looking through the log and it doesn't to have created a list for one of the theathers I placed in the active list. BTW - Whoever writes up documentation for this needs to point out what website you are getting the theater info from. I placed the wrong (it was correct on a different website) name of my favorite theater I attend but it the search didn't find it (probably should tell the user that) on the website it uses. Yes, I know now know it uses Yahoo and am correcting the name based on the name it uses there. EDIT: I corrected the theater name and re-ran the program - it still did not show anything different (actually I can't find anything) for the second theater! Is it an issue? BTW - Why do we need a inactive list of theaters? Mike |

| Thanks for the test. I posted a new beta version which I bet will run on that XP laptop of yours - give it a shot. I have it now use an older version of MSXML but it should still work. Inactive theaters are in there for plug-in authors to give their users the choice of which theaters to activate without having to know how to exactly spell the theater name. Did you run the program with the /updatetheatersonly option first after typing in your country and zip code? This ensures that the spelling for the theaters is correct - it also deletes theaters that are incorrectly spelled to double check your spelling ![]() I agree that the documentation needs help  -Jim Quote:

Country: | key master - I will try out the new beta when I get home tonight (hopefully I will remember). Thanks for the explaination regarding inactive theaters. To answer your question - Re: "Did you run the program with the /updatetheatersonly option first..." I looked through both xml files and didn't see that option. Which file shoudl that be in and does it matter as to the location? Does this option only work in the newer beta version? Mike Quote:

Country: | Hi Mike, the /updatetheatersonly is a commandline function, not in the XML files. So run the mtsa.exe /updatetheatersonly and it's good. Also, you don't need to enter anything in the inactive theaters at all. I think what I may end up doing in the setup program is to capture the list of theaterss and allow the user to select which one to download info for. This is much like how the importer works on Meedio. Sean Quote:
