Netflix Manager v2.0 w/Play now support

Couple questions and issues: I am using RC2 and the dll from post #92.

Issues:
1. The search function is broken for me. I did a search for a few different movies, one " green bar" appears in the search bar and then it stops. MP doesn't freeze but I have let it sit for as long as 30 minutes without any further progress.

2. With the Play Now Queue the feed for "Top 50" works partialy, not sure what the RSS feed is since it's a default but the movie description doesn't show. Also I doubt it's possible but the "*" after the movie is a nice touch any chance that can be adapted to the normal Queue to signify Watch Now movies?

Questions:
1. Is there anyway to close the browser window after playing a Watch Now movie without closing MP? I noticed someone added some controls to the dll in post #58 but that dll doesn't work anymore.

2. Anyone ever find an URL to display more then 24 titles at once? If I put a sorted Watch Now Genre URL in such as http://www.netflix.com/WiGenre?sgid=...pgid=296&st=tt it does sort the movies but it shows only 24 max, the same as the webpage.

This is a great plugin! I am very grateful for all the hard work people have been putting into it.

I am using the dll from post 100 and can browse and watch everything I set up. But there is no advanced remote control functionality (full screen, pause, rewind, etc) and it hangs on search...

Post 92 states that a different dll includes some nice features but is apparently broken right now...

I guess, I am confused about which one to use. Maybe the people who did all this great work could follow up here one more time explaining which version is the latest and greatest and which features are available and which are permanently dead.

Well this ought to make this plugin a whole lot easier to write and a whole lot more functional. Anyone interested in getting started on a rewrite? I'll help.

The .dll from #92 is just a slight change to the original 2.0 .dll. Search is (and has been) broken, and the browser window close issue is also a problem with the original .dll.

The .dll in #58 was the one I used but since the source isn't in SVN I wasn't able to recompile it with the new URL pointers. I shouldn't gripe, the recompile I did isn't in SVN either, but it only changes a few URL strings in the original. I'm still not even sure if I compiled it correctly at this point.

I would be happy to help with a 3.0 rewrite, but you can fit what I know about C# in a very small paper sack...

Watch it now doesn't seem to be working with the blue3 skin in RC3. I get my queue to come up, but there is no watch it now information available for any of them. i'm using the .dll from post #100, and the .xml from the first post in the topic. what do you think?

Same for me. Are there any plans to update this plugin, or is it effectively dead?

I don't have a way to incorporate the advanced remote functions, though I would very much like to. I wouldn't say that this plugin is dead but there's nothing more I can do with it at present. If I had the source for the .dll in post 58, I could fix that one to work like the one in post 100, though search has never worked to my knowledge.

I have installed version off of post 100, yet when I choose to play instant view, nothing happens. No error reports, nothing. I have made sure that have the default dpi setting on windows. running xp home with sp3. any suggestions?

OK - I recompiled the .DLL using VS2008 so I don't know if this will work for everybody. I used the DLL's from the 1.0.0rc2 as references, and it works on my PC here under XP SP3. YMMV.

BTW, I'd love the updated DLL from pauljghosh to get fixed. It had some nice features, like fullscreen on F9 / Info. I'd also love it to be able to hit the prev / next buttons on the Netflix Player...

First of all, FREAKING awesome plugin! I have everythign working perfect but one thing. I have only found this one post on it so i think it has something to do with "dougs" plugin (although i can tfind anything on that). I watch all TV series off of netflix....not movies so the "next" button is critical to me since i can't individually select the episodes like I can off of the netflix website. When in click on the next button after starting the first episodes (which loads by default when I click on "play now" from the DVD menu i get the following error displayed in MP. I only click this button 15 seconds in to the first episode that is playing fine. Any suggesstions? I am using the dll form 100 and the new xml skin file from (i think 92) whatever is the newest. I am usin MP RC2 with the xface skin. running xphome sp3 with ALL updates. this is the error i get:
