Netflix Manager (Updated 02/10/07) It's for 1920x1080, so it may not work for you as-is. But you can open it in Notepad and change the values. -------------- [Obnoxious double post will be merged - these are two different replies] Quote:
Anthony Park :: 100% Geek Content by Volume New Vista Media Center Plugin - MyNetflix (beta) Doug's MP plugin is still a much better choice as of this moment. It features search, and a list for "Watch Now Titles in My Queue" which is obviously very important. And the VMC doesn't have fullscreen working yet. Fullscreen at least works for some poeple with the MP plugin. Last edited by lifterus; 2008-02-11 at 09:24. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

| The floodgates are open. SageTV now has a plugin for this: SageTV Community - Downloads - NetFlix for SageMC It just amazes me. "Watch Now" has been around for like a year now. For most people it would be very difficult to use up all your hours. Yet nobody paid attention to the feature until now since they've stopped limiting how much you can use it. |

Country: | I played around with a watch now plugin for GB-PVR before but I used up my allotment in 3 hours. If you didn't click the "Back to browsing" link in the player window, the entire movie time was deducted even if you only watched a few minutes. I found this out too late. By starting and stopping my plugin several times in that 3 hour period for debugging purposes, I quickly ate up my time since each time I ran it I was deducted 2 hours. By going unlimited, this is no longer an issue. |

| I tried to find your GB-PVR plugin but couldn't see it anywhere. Just the discussion thread. Have you released it? I'd love to try it out. On another note, I just tested the SageTV plugin. For those who aren't familiar, to use the plugin you have to first install SageTV Media Center, and then overwrite a bunch of files with a user-created version called SageMC before you can use the plugin. Very confusing. That plugin did things quite a bit differently. There were no "Watch Now" lists at all. You have find a movie, click on it's details, and if it's "Watch Now" then you can watch it. No remote controls for fullscreen, play/pause etc. In other words, not very useful. I gotta say, with all these other options that keep surfacing, none of them are even close to as useful as Doug's plugin for MediaPortal. Fullscreen not working on all resolutions is really the only issue, and even that can be manually remedied by using Girder. |

How exactly do you intend to manually remedy the full screen issue w/ girder? There's no key combo that will make it work... it requires a mouse click. I guess you can use girder to control the mouse but... not sure that's very elegant either. Let me know what you had in mind though! I swear the fullscreen issue w/ this plugin is less a resolution problem and more a focusing issue. It seemed inconsistent w/ clicking in the IE window it created/registering the command with MP. I modified the code to simply use the correct coordinates for where the button was on my screen and sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't - sometimes it would register an event in the MP log, sometimes it wouldn't.

Country: | My GB-PVR plugin that includes the "Watch Now" feature has not been released yet. You are correct in that the MP plugin is the most advanced. I will probably be bugging whiskaz and nerd1701 a lot to share code with them. ![]() I've figured out a way to skin the Netflix player and hope to skin it to match GB-PVR. This may be an option for MP as well. whiskaz, I tried the MCE plugin. All it does is open the netflix website inside the MCE UI. |
