Is anyone doing further development on this plugin? Would be nice to be able to search/browse all the Watch Now videos

Looks like SageTV plugin developers have mastered the art of Netflix:

BrentEvans Geek Tonic: Netflix Plugin for SageTV V2.0 – Easier Control of Netflix Watch Now

Maybe whoever is now working on the MP plugin can get in touch with the SageTV developers and convince them to share some code?

I'm sure Morgan111 (SageTV forum member and developer of the SageTV Netflix Plugin would be happy to share with MP developers interested. Or alternatively we'd love to have new SageTV developers join us as well

Samusden,
Just curiuos, are you still using BTV for the TV side of things and MP for the other HTPC functions?

Yes, I am.... it's working so well for me, I see no reason to change. I really like the recent developments in BTV, and MP has been rock solid for me for a long time now (still using 0.2.3.0 since I don't want to redo my MP settings until MP 1.0 final has been released).

I'm cleaning up a small but imortant issue with my Netflix code for GBPVR and then it should be ported for MP soon after that. The issue I'm fixing would affect any port of the code so it needs to be resolved first.

Once fixed, I'm handing over pretty much all of the source for an MP version to be created.

Ummm I haven't looked at the code but might this make development of this plugin a little easier?

[Edit] Umm nevermind it looks like it's just some dependencies and probably not a substantial portion of the core for the player.

Here's an interesting problem: On DVD's that have multiple TV shows (ex. Voltron, Volume 1) is there a way to use the "PREV / NEXT" buttons on the NetFlix Player GUI? I'm using the updated .DLL, so F9 / Info toggles fullscreen, play / pause work, and the L + R cursors seem to change the volume in the NF Player.

If there was a way to skip between episodes without resorting to the mouse, that would be great.

is anyone having trouble with the search? doesn't seem to work for me.

I just signed up for the netflix trial an set this plug in up. the "watch it now" library doesn't seem to have much in the way of good stuff..
I thought about dropping HBO and just paying for netflix.. but now i'm not sure if that's the best idea.

Do you have to have IE installed to run this plugin? I am stripping down an OS using N-lite and want to strip out IE completly.

Yes, you need IE. It's the only browser that Netflix supports for Instant Playback.
