Is Watch Now working for anyone else right now? The vmcNetFlix plugin author mentioned something in a recent release about NetFlix changing their Watch Now URLs. I can click on Watch Now, go to my DVD Queue, but then nothing happens.

It worked for me as of last week. The change in URLs shouldn't affect this version since I used the URLs from scrapping the site.

I would check to make sure that you have the correct cookie id in the config. It needs to be from your IE browser to work right.

Not working for me as of this week, with correct cookie ID's in the plugin. The plugin was working last week for me.

I have the same issue as you. I am sure the cookie ID is correct, taken from IE7. I open the queue, click a title and nothing happens. What am I missing?

Hi everyone,

This looks like a great plugin...I followed all the installation instructions; I can see my queue, recommendations, etc. but I don't see any option for me to "play now" anywhere. I'd love to stream my NF movies within MP. I'm using the Purevision HD skin if that makes any difference.

Many thanks in advance!

There is a "Watch Now" button on the menu to the left when you enter the plugin. A window then appears so that you can choose the source for the Watch Now movies (DVD queue, Top 25, etc.) Up until about 2 weeks ago, clicking on this menu would bring up a page of movies that could then be selected.

Now it does nothing.

If your skin doesn't have an updated NetflixManager.xml file, you may not see the Watch Now buttons. Try replacing your skin's NetflixManager.xml file with the one included in the zip.

Is the source available for this? Or is the development dead?

Thanks!

Had to register just so I could reply to this thread. I have moved over to Media Portal just so I could use this plugin and am disappointed that it is currently broken. BUT, it is a simple fix if only the developer would release the source. I have decompiled the dll JUST to look into the issue and not for redistribution. The author scrapes the queue to get the information and a few of the url strings have changed so just a few copy and pastes and its working again.

Where does this leave us? It's up the the original author since the work is obviously his and it's up to him to either make these changes himself or to release the source to truely make this a community project and let this live on.

So I vote for open source but I fully understand if the author wants to keep his intellectual property to himself.

It is open source and the source is on the same source repository as the other plugins.

I figured it was an easy fix, but I have been extremely busy of late and have not had a chance to even look at this.
