New plugin : DreamDboxTV

Hi @all,

after doing not much on the Dbox plug-in I’ve got a mail from nyx regarding my plug-in. So he was joining my project to improve it and to have it also compatible for the Dreambox. We are doing a good progress and I think quite soon we will do a release. Frank Müller was testing the V2 protocol for us, so we can now support 3 different receiver. So the Dbox plug-in is not dead, instead we built something bigger. I hope you like it.

Right now following functions are implemented:

- Auto detect receiver type on setup (Neutrino / Enigma V1/V2)
- read bouquets to XML to speed up things
- zapping (change to another channel about 5 s)
- AutoOn on the startup of the plugin
- Record to the hard drive
- Play recorded stream
- Do a snapshot
- OSD display of the actual channel and program
- OSD display the info of the actual program
- OSD direct channel selection
- OSD channel selection via bouquet selection
- Timeshift
- Switch audio languages
- MPI installer

Planned featured

- EPG on facade view
- Planed records via EPG

So stay tuned for more. Attached you’ll find some actual screenshots ( outdated, the new OSD is much nicer )

Hi @all,

nyx and I are just working to get the version more stable before we release it. We will try if we can do a release this week. Also nyx started to work on a xml based epg which we will use for the facade epg view later. So stay tuned.

Wann kommt davon ein release raus? ( hab ich das auch richtig verstanden, dass dieses Dreamboxplugin auch für die Dbox benutzbar ist oder ? )

Hi @all,

I put the actual version as a preview to the top of the thread.

I will do an offical release later. I need to travel for a couple days, so grab the previw and let us know how its going.
Of course this release is good for the D-Box and the Dreambox !
