New Plugin : Yahoo Music Videos

Hi there, thankis for your efforts, some skin info using the monochrome skin

monochrome skin has contry instead of country on one of the buttons,
the wee window bottom left sits too high up the top of it is about halfway through the contry(sic) button
the list on the right hand side of the screen of genres comes just too far left and overlays the buttons
Could the default view be changed to most populart as most of the genres are empty and therefore prettty pointless

One prob, not possible to stop when playing actually video disappear but music still plays on.
Else cool tohave a plugin like this again.

Did the stop problem get fixed? Read the thread but wasn't clear on what the outcome of this was, and I've just installed 0.6 and I can't stop the music.

Hi there, First off thanks for your efforts in making this plugin.
I too am having the same issues as pe0n
When i start the video playing i get a black screen with a grey box in the bottom left corner. No sound or video at all. Watching the hard disk indicator it would appear that the video is being downloaded as this flickers away like it normally would should a video be playing.

I have attached my log files for you to see if there is anything you can suggest

Do you have installed the lates version of Adobe Flash Player ?
And try to disable OnlineVideos flvplayer plugin .....
From log i don't find any relevant info ..

I installed the latest version of adobe flash player and deleted the flv player plugin from my plugins directory.
Now your plugin is working perfectly

When I install this in the which skin question Aeon wide is not ticked...tick it and install and I end up with B2 skins installed in the Aeon wide folder....any one else get this just wondered if it is this just a product of my setup

I think, I have same problem. After installation, also left side menu panel, only "Layout: List" is avaliable, rest of the bottons are still there but there are no letters on them. so you do not know which botton you push. And no animation on leftpanel. Btw video stream works without problem. (I had clean installation MP and only 0.6 yahoo plugin)

The missing menus have something to do with the language files apparently, as I have reported this issue before. If you've updated your MP install after the plugin was installed, the language files get wiped out, & leave you with blank menus for this plugin.

Reinstall the plugin, & the menus should be fine. I don't know why this is the only plugin that seems to do this. I'm updating to latest SVN all the time, & have to keep reinstalling this plugin every time.

It was the reason that i had clean mp installation and only yahoo plugin. when I re-install the plugin, skin section of the plugin, I had two (Aeon wide, Aeon Wide) skin and only one of them were ticked. I reinstalled with and without ticked. I still have problem

@Dukus - looks like the installer needs to be fixed for users with Aeon wide skin installed. BTW, I PM'd you about an issue too.

@Baja - I still had a clean RC3 client on one machine (are you on 1.0 RC3?), so I installed Aeon wide, & then opened the skin directory & watched the bottom of the file list while installing Yahoo plugin V0.6.

The installer listed two entries for Aeon wide on my system too. By default the one at the top of the list was unchecked, & the one further down was checked. I let the installer proceed with those settings, & it resulted in three files being copied to the Aeon wide skin folder. All three files started with yahoo in their name. With these files installed, the formatting of the page is screwed, & the new RC3 menus open superimposed on the main page content, resulting in a mess.

I used the MPinstaller util to remove the plugin, & again installed this time unchecking the middle entry & checking the top one. This time the installer copied over three yahoo files, & a fourth file for common window. With these files installed the screen looked great, & menus worked correctly.

If trying this still doesn't work for you Baja, then maybe it's because the plugin isn't including language entries for the menus in your language. What language are you running in?
