NRK Open Online Spotlight plugin

NOTE: This plugin is currently in early beta-state, it’s not finished.

Open Online Spotlight is a Plugin for MediaPortal that enables you to view NRK Nett-TV (Public Norwegian television) in MediaPortal.



Download the plugin here: OpenOnlineSpotlight.zip

For now you have to download the program-XML to your PC and unpack the “nrk.xml” to “C:\temp\nrk.xml”. This will be changed to an onlineservice in next versions.

There is a bug in my list-component, so you just may have to click the “View”-button (top-left) a few times until the button says “View: List”

NOTE: .NET Framework 3.5 is required! Download here: Microsoft Corporation




EDIT: New updated version out. please download the plugin again and use the new version.
fix: shows many more episodes under some projects

Date-sorting is not implemented yet.

Same problem as Spragleknas... I guess you have used myEmulators as a template and forgotten to remove something.. Description of dll is also myEmulators. I had to remove myEmulators plugin, then the open online spotlight plugin showed in plugins.

i've fixed the problem now, just download the plugin again:

I've also changed the plugin-ID, so it can coexist with the myEmulator-plugin

Can't get it to work.

Nothing is displayed.

hm, have you tried clicking the top-left "view"-button a couple times? I have an issue with that control.

if that doesn´t work, what does the log-files in "MediaPortal\Log" say?

edit: also check that you have installed .NET Runtime 3.5. It will not work without it.
Also do try do download the new version of the plugin.

Some remarks:
often aften starting to play an episode , then pressing STOP, then the episode-list is not visible, returning to series-menu may show an empty list.

please add dates in future releases - When you enter "Borettslaget" you see different titles, several "episode 4" from different seasons, and the whole thing is pretty messy, please add date, and it would be nice to show it in chronological order , (newest episodes first)

Yep, the stop-bug is annoying, I'll look into that.

I'll also see what I can do about the dates.
