Plugin error

HI I'm new at this.

When I go in to the Configure and then go to Plugins

can I Make new ones. If so I'm getting a error it is----

No you can't make new plugins by adding an entry in the config screen.

To make a new plugin, you need to create a .NET dll and put that in mediaportal\plugins\windows or mediaportal\plugins\process folder, depending on the type of plugin.

See the 'plugin development' forum for more details.

BTW, if you want to open external programs from MP, you can config the My Programs plugin to do that.

MrMario64: This should be fixed so its not possible - its just a simply setting in the datagrid.

No, you can't add plugins like this AFAIK. This is a bug which has been reported here: http://nolanparty.com/mediaportal.so...pic.php?t=2901
