Are there more wishes, a few things i changed, beside the earlier changes

- The message adding and removing favorites is not only english anymore. It now looks at your mediaportal language settings.
- Fixed - When you start a movie it starts again in fullscreen and not in preview window
- Navigation has been improved
-> when you play fullscreen and make him small ( context window ). Now it returns to the lis of channels and focusses on your last choise same happens when you press escap while watching fullscreen.
-> Same happens when you watch a movie by favorites ( it repositions to your last choosen favorite ).
-> when you select a country or category and are in channelview you can go back by escape. It repositions to your last choosen category/ country.

I there are no more wishes i will release it to a couple of people who want to test. I have no remote control so it would be good to test this.

I want some people to test the new plugin. So i you want to test send me a pm with your mailadres and i will send it to you. i do not have a remote control so it would be nice if someone with a remote control could test it and mail if you have an svn version.

First of all i made another few changes,

- first of all i show the extension in the list and also show the bandwidth again. The extension is because we know that .ram ( realplayer will not play streaming ). Maybe in future ( maybe at that moment i am not developing anymore ) it will work so this is why i not leave them out of the list. But with showing the extensions you can recognice them.
- i changed the format of the text with channel description ( it was very small ) so it is a bigger font now.
- when you are in categoryview i show the country with channeldescrition and when you are in countryview i show the caregory with the channeldescription.

Someone is testing and we agreed that there are still many countries to choose. Most people use only one or a few countries. So maybe it is better if you can add countries and categories also to you favorites. But how are your thoughts about how it should be implemented. Option one is less clicking ( but less organized ), option two is organized and little more clicking. I also had the idea of showing the alfabet.

All, A-, B-, C- etc... all is all countries and when you pick a letter you get all the countries who are beginning with that letter so the list is reduced to 3 or 4 pages instead of 16. but still it would not be as fast as adding countries to favorites so i will implement this option. But what is your opinion ( option one or two ).

Today wwitv added webcams as a category so with the new plugin webcams can also been seen.

I have no reactions on the question how about setting up favorites ( for instance adding countries as a favorite and how see my previous post ) . So this will not be supported for now.

I released the new version at the plugin section. So i hope you like the new plugin, the changes i made. At the download i mentioned the most changes and at this forumtopic i also mentioned them all.

I downloaded your plugin from the MediaPortal website, any thoughts?

i realy do not have i glue. As ai said what the plugin does, it gets channeldata frow wwitv then makes creates an xml ( the wwitv2.xml ) and stores the channeldata in it. I have avg but no problems here. the wwitv2 xml is not delivered with the plugin. It is created as you push refresh.

iIt costed me an evening but here are the results i installed nod32 and then with trial and erro i came to the channelname Hmall Shop TV which causes the warning. Why ? I do not kwno but after i found out it was that line i skipped it in de code and everything was oke no warning. Then i skipped the different fileds ( countryname, categoryname etcc and fout out it was the channel name so if i skip the channelname Hmall Shop TV. no warning. So i mailed wwitv maybe it is a special character which i cannot see. Maybe they can retype the channelname. But it keeps strange that nod32 gives an warning on a name or maybe special character in teh name. So i hope rewriting the channelname is the solution otherwise maybe i have specially to code something so it skips this channelname. I have no experience with nod32 but i am curious to know why the see it as a virus. Do you also use the 30-day trial i installed to find the problem ?

You're right that i use the trial version, i like the price :-)

I'm happy that you say there is no problem, obviously just one of these quirks computers throw up. And i'll try your plugin again very shortly.

oke i hope wwitv can make some changes to the channelname so the plugin does not have to be changed.

You us it because of the price ? I use AVG it is totally free.
