OK,
I Think it is almost functional.
I just need some small things like saving the selected country and some small details and then it's finished.
I will publish a link for people to download and try it.

sugestions and comment is welcome ofcourse.

Really looking forward to this. Hopefully I can get this setup to use the channel up/down buttons on my remote and browse just like a regular tv!

OK,

It's finished (at least I think it is...).
for interrested people, browse to the following link (just temporarely) to download:

ftp://www.vultureonline.nl

It should be downloadable as a zip file.
installation instructions are simple.

unpack the zipfile in your favorite dir.
place the .dll file in [Mediaportal]\Plugins\Windows
place the .xml file in [Mediaportal\Skin\[SkinName]
place the .png file in [Mediaportal\Skin\[SkinName]\Media

It should work right away.
there are no instructions on using this plugin.
It gives you a list of online tv channels from one country and one button to select another country.
It saves the selected country so this will be the selected country when you return to the pluginscreen.

There are no channel up/down features yet. I will look into that.

ZipperZip, thank you for letting me use your code.
This is my first C# program, so any comment is OK.

I uploaded the plugin to the plugin section of MediaPortal.
I should be available there soon.

The link in my previous post should still be working...

To add an address, its possible to send a mail on this page:

http://wwitv.com/page/add_url.htm

the playlist option is something I can add in future versions...
Should be not hard.

really nice. But it MP hangs when you use your plugin and then go to my tv and switch the tv on. It doesn't hang when you first press stop to stop your plugin from playing and then turn on the televion in my tv.

sure thing, Kootje,

I will install the plugin myself at your place.

for the other users, the plugin isn't available for download from my site.
It's available from the plugins page in the MediaPortal homepage.
