Default Question... can the XBOX 360 HD-DVD remote work on PC and Mediaportal?

I've seen similar posts, but it looks like they may be referring to another remote than this, so I figured I'd ask...

Is there a means of getting the remote that comes with the XBOX 360 HD-DVD drive to work in Windows/Media portal and similar?... maybe a generic plugin?

It's a snazzy little device, works with my HDTV... even has Media Center buttons that could be utilized... it'd be nice to have this work on the PC too (especially since I don't own an Xbox 360 - just it's HD-DVD drive)

What kind of IR attachment would I need? Hopefully something where I wouldn't need to buy ANOTHER remote just for its IR attachment...

In advance for any help...

P.S. Here is a link to the remote in question: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x...iversalremote/
