A REAL Media Portal Games Plugin

Good evening!

First of all, I love Media Portal and the plugins like TV-Series and so on. It's just the best program for relaxing, watch a movie, get informations about it and just enjoy the free time.

But in fact, I really miss some kind of a good games plugin.
I know, it is able to start games with MyPrograms, but in my opinion it's not the best solution.
I use GameEx for games, but it's really annoying to switch from program to program. (watch a movie -> MP play a game -> GE)

So would it be possible to create such a plugin? I don't have the knowledge to program something like this. But I would really like to help on the design part.
I just edited the TV-Series dummy object to have an idea of the look.
Of course the real "problem" would be to add this whole bunch of important features (to use emulators, play PC games, start XPadder profiles before the game starts, mount isos for certain games and so on).

I really hope someone will start to work on this. (like I said, I would help where I can)

I just wanted to give it a push. I made a new concept design.
Maybe I (or better we) get attention by some programer. Like I already said, I would really like to help with design and ideas.
I don't know what is really possible in MP, it's just a concept for one game. But it would make MP perfect!

Perhaps the author of My Emulators would be interested in adding at least some of this functionality. If not, I'm sure the My Programs plugin could be expanded to do this.

It's really cool. I totally agree with you... My programs is a bit outdated, and i use MP mainly as a console for games (i don't use TV part) so i like so much your idea.
