REQUEST: Resrrect the MyShowTimes plugin

i feel like i came into this movie about 3/4s of the way through....

is MTSA used in conjunction with showtimes plugin? and if so what version of showtimes plugin should i be using with, say, version 4.3.3 of MTSA.

ok, got the above problem solved....everything seems to work except i can't view Trailers at all, just a black screen....downloaded them and they load fine when using quicktime to watch them.....

i'm sure i'm missing something.

Do you know if you can watch .mov files elsewhere in MediaPortal? Make sure you have QT or QT alternative installed and also the Haali splitter.

hrm, i'll try the trailers within the movies area and see what happens...i can play .mov fine outside the program and i have qt and haali installed.

need to remind myself to make an image of my mediaportal before i start messing with it again...lost all video in mp...got it back though, that was scary.

Reinstalling Coreav seems to have solved the trailer not showing problem.....should have written the order i did all this, time to make an Archos backup....

course it didn't solve all my .mov problems....some play, some don't...none of them play when using Quicktime as it says that the plugin is being used by another program.

I've noticed one other thing with myShowtimes playing .mov files. It may be a bug on my installation, but once I figured it out it made the plugin a lot more useful.

The first trailer I play always works fine. When it's over, the thumbnail of the trailer remains in the lower corner of the screen. I can continue browsing the trailers like normal. But if I try to play another, it plays in the background (no picture) or not at all. However, if I press stop at the end of the trailer so that the preview thumb disappears from the bottom corner, then I can play another trailer just fine.

I don't know if you are experiencing anything like this, but the solution for me was as simple as pressing stop.

Dunno if it's me (don't think so) but lot's of movies have no description when I use this.
For example Hancock:

Well if I just copy paste the name in IMDB it's the first hit so why is it missing the details?
This one from Indiana Jones has a kinda incorrect title but still if I copy paste this in IMDB it's the first hit.

I've just reinstalled MP with latest SVN build. Now I can't get this plugin to play nice. I get an error while trying to set it up, see file attached

Hi all
Is anybody running this plugin sucessfully in RC3
i just installed RC3 and i get the same error a JOZ (a couple of posts before)
It ran perfectly on RC2 (without svn), so i'm wondering if something has changed since RC2 and RC3 to break it
Any ideas
