REQUEST: Resrrect the MyShowTimes plugin

Hi, I installed My Show Times yesterday, and it works great. Only have FFDShow and CoreAVC loaded but all trailers stream no problem, even the high quality one's.

I'm creating an Xface skin for this and hopefully will post in the next few days.

My only issue is that none of the keyboard shortcuts work whilst the trailer is playing, therefore I have to wait for the trailer to finish before returning back to the menu, which is annoying.

Is there a fix for this. If there is it would make this plugin perfect!

Are you installed an external plugin (eg. My Mplayer or the VideoLan plugin)?

No, non of these, just FFDshow and core AVC. I tried installing both quicktime and then VLC but no change in terms of buttons working.

Using the indigo skin with a mce remote or keyboard shortcuts, all works fine, can ff\rw, escape, stop, back to menu etc.

This is done with the internal player.

Looking forward to the xface update.

I think I'm getting nearer to the problem with the trailer not responding to the remote.

I've noticed that when a trailer is playing, if I go up and down on the remote, I see the various skin buttons being displayed on my Antec fusion display screen which kind of shows the skin behind the video has focus rather than the video itself.

No idea how to fix this so calling the dev's to help pleeeeaaase.

By the way, the Xface skin is almost done.

Hi All,

I started to use this plugin recently as a replacement for MyTrailers. I was so impressed with it I've spent quite a bit of time creating an Xface skin for it.

I've tried to keep it very much with the xface look and feel to ensure it's consistant with the great work Harley's already done with this skin.

It's certainly very stable on my machine and works a treat, so hopefully you'll like it.

Please feel free to test (link to more details below) and feedback any comments.

anyone figure out why the plugin was downloading just thing graphics with the rating of the movie.
I have to go in and download manually each graphic and replace what it dowloaded to make it look right.

I've noticed recently that quite a few trailers aren't being downloaded. Looking in MTSA.Log, It simply says [Not Found] for them - but if I go to the Apple site I can see they are there (Wall-E is one example).

Is this a known problem? I had a look at the source and stepped through it, but having trouble deciphering all the XML to look up the names - I assume the file names aren't matching to the movie one properly...?

Other than that, no real problems - finding my local cinemas was a bit hit and miss, but got them in the end. Great plugin!

I live the near to the broad of both Gloucester and Bristol, what I would like is the ability to list theathers in the Gloucester, Bristol, Cheltehnam and Stroud areas but the current system only allows for one area to be used or a few miles radius by postcode. Can this be changed in the next version to support multiple areas?
