shoutcast plungin

compliments of the season people,
can anyone help am creating a mp plugin that quries, downloads and plays pls files from shoutcast but havn't clue on how to go about it. i do have basic knowledge of mp plugins and can create one but clueless on how to intergrate shoutcast.

From this thread it appears that some additional development work would be nice. But the key word is that it would require development work to make it easier for the configuration/searching/selection of internet radio streams. So, it will have to wait until a developer (hopefully a new one so the current developers won't be over taxed with work) finds they could contribute to this fine project and submit code changes.
