SVT Play plugin (Swedish TV)

Hi There,

I love this plugin and my kids love it even more!! 5 stars to MrMad for developing this one!! :-) :-)

I just upgraded to the release from Oct 21 and now i cannot get this working at all...even when going back to the earlier versions of it i still have the same problem even though it worked last night.

Drilling down in the menu structure works fine until i get the level where the actual link to the videos are. When getting to this level i get nothing, just a blank screen with the menu structure on the left. If i exit from this i get back to the level above this with all the available selections.

I am using the xface skin, but have tried it with BlueTwo as well with the same problem.

Please have a look at the attached logfile as there is clearly something going wrong. I get this "Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error all the time.

HAve a look at "13:18:54.953125" where i clicked "Häxan Surtant" to get a listing of all available videos. As you can see i left the system for 2 minutes before exiting MP. During this time nothing happened... Please note that the system doesn't hang, it just does not display any of the available videos.

Looking forward to any help trying to resolve this problem.

Hi MrMad

Use your plugin a lot.
I would like to see the animation/progressbar when the plugin searches for a video an dissapears when stopped, either if stream is found (or played of course) or no stream found so the user can see when no search is going on.

As it is today, if no stream found you wouldn't know, you just wait for... I dont know.

Do you think this could be done?

Solis66... is working for you though? Sounds like it!!

Daniel... do you have the same problem as me or do you have another problem? Please submit your logfiles so that we can debug and resolve this faster.

Maybe this has something to do with changes at the SVT site? It is still working from their website though!

No, actually. i just tried but got no response from SVT on the episodes, just "category" listing.

Tried Svensson... but didn't even get a list of episodes! and some Bollibompa but no luck.

Yes, I've got the same problem as you.
Gets an "System.NullReferenceException: Objektreferensen har inte angetts till en instans av ett objekt." error.

OK guys, get the new version. SVT changed the format a bit so I had to make some changes.
Also changed from mms to http to get past some firewalls. Tell me if this is a problem.

There should already be a progress bar showing when loading a video.
Actually I am using it when loading SVT play web pages too, but I have never seen it show up
