Telldus tellstick plugin.

Hi

About this upcoming home automation.

I saw something today (on www.telldus.com) something called tellstick.

Its a usb-stick to control the 433mhz powerswitches.

Now to my problem, is there anyone out there that would be able to write a plugin for this product?

The site is in swedish but if you contact the company the probably will translate it for you.

There already exist a basic Mediaportal plugin for this device :

I know that, but i wanna know if there is someone that maybe can develop it further. Like auto-dim lights when starting a movie, etc.

Hi Holstein!
I'm the author of the Telldus plugin.
I am currently devloping a process plugin that turns off a device while playing a movie. Since there is currently no good way to dim there is no support for that yet.
I'll post here when the plugin is ready.

A wild gues is that you have not copyed the XML (skinfile) to the skin you using.

Mirk, you were of course correct - I found the file in the source code package, so no more error, but now I just have a plain MP screen - I do not even get the screen that was shpwn ogether with this plugin. There is nothing (that I could find) in the text files and the comments in the XML files did not make me any smarter either. I suppose it is ealy days for this plugin - I see MrMad is working on a new version - I will wait for that one.

Hej MrMad, if you need help testing the new version let me know.
