Thumbnailer (process plugin) - creates automaticly thumbnails from video files - Page 5

Another question, when I click to your download there are 2 files:
1. Thumbnailer.mpi (2.34 MB, 48 views)
2. Thumbnailer_Source.rar (2.88 MB, 11 views)

I only downloaded the first one, is that all I needed?
I suspected the other to be the Source code and I did not need that.

Yes thats right, the second one is the source code - so if you want you can check it, extend it or compile it with new features... its open source

Does it work now on your machine?

I guess I need to delete the version of MP I am now using and start over. I get a message that say's, your plugin will not work with the version of MP I am now using.

I have MP working fine, so I think I will keep everything the way it is for now. Thanks for your Help.

I have one question - Thumbnailer works with MP 1.0.0.0 RC1 only? Or with MP 0.2.3.0 also?

I tried, but did not like too long start of TV Server.
I'm using TV-tuner "Compro VideoMate Vista E800F" with H/W encoder and it working fine in MP 0.2.3.0 and it is loaded much quicker

can I change my vote please. I'd like to vote yes if it can thumb nail the TV recording, that would be ace. For Films or TV series I use the covers

No, its not possible to change your vote...

I have now a few things to do with the thumbnailer:

- Adding the selection how to crop the image
- choose for the start time in %
- clean up folders if the movie is deleted and a thumb or a xml or a tdb is located, tv server does only delete its own files an leaves the folder there if any of this files are existent!
- Start up delay...
