Country: | Thanks for the support. I'm very busy at the moment, I've made some small progress like showing the playlist items and removing items. I'm not sure yet if all features still work with the new (fantastic!) music engine. I'll get back at it a.s.a.p. and you all posted! |

| Great idea for a plug-in! Will it support web browsers for the Palm OS platform? There's some existing software which works via Bluetooth (plus wifi possibly), and allows you to control iTunes and Windows Media Player, but it's not browser-based. http://www.salling.com/Clicker/windows/ Might give you some ideas. |

Country: | I'm having trouble making the player fully functional on a mobile browser. Also, there is going to be a lot of change in AJAX support in browsers. This is already extended for IE7 and FireFox2.0 but will be extended even more. Also, there is some discussion about how the interface to communicate with with MP from a webbased application works and should work. There is a chance there will be some changes there. I'd like to see if there is going to be any change there before I finish the project. Otherwise I'd might have to start (partially) over. But I'll keep you posted on the progress. Don't expect anything with in the next months. I hope there will be some sort of standard for communication with MP from external applications by the time 3.0 is released. |

Country: | I will start to try and find out how communication with external applications works now. If this is somewhat solid and the performance is good enough I'll start rewriting it. I lost the code after a harddisk crash (twice!). I still think it would be nice to have a plugin like this but it's depending on what MP offers in terms of communication. I have not enough C# knowledge to write a plugin for external communication myself. |

Country: | Keep in mind that MP already has an external control plugin (e.g. used for the old web interface), and another external control plugin for the pocket pc control. So make sure you don't re-invent the wheel TOO much. I would love to see a much-needed update to the web interface, so keep on working! Milhouse |
