X10 Home Automation Plugin

Hi All,

I have made a x10 home automation plugin for mediaportal.

If you have a x10 Firecracker device and x10 modules you can now control them using mediaportal

Here are the screenshots and the code is soon to follow.

Won't use it myself, but I'm sure some people here will love this. Great work.

Thanks for taking the time to do this..... FIRECRACKER is FANTASTIC, and this plugin will get a lot of attention.

Is it asking too much for perhaps a little bit of "art" to dress up the page, perhaps just a .jpg of the room, but more importantly some type of drill down - just one more layer would be nice.

Example

Family Room
- Fireplace lights
- TV lightining

Kitchen
- Sink Light
- Main lights.

Not major AT ALL but just some thoughts.

Hi,

this plugin is great stuff.

I have all in my Livingroom with x10, so it would be great if i can cotrol it over mp.

Can i use it for marmitek X10 Produkts ?

Where can i download the Plugin ?

Great, I will make my new house x10 compliant and will use mediaportal to turn everything on and off, dimming the lights.

Hey nice start. I would be very cool if you could import an XML file from say, Homeseer and have it just work or to be able to configure events in the plugin, so that you could have the lights dim to a specific setting for watching movies, or execute a script before you head off to bed etc. I'd like still keep Homeseer but to have access to X10 devices within MP is sweet.

A littlebit Off-Topic, but can anyone tell me how this System works?

Does the PC-Module send wireless signals to the receiver at the lights? And are there modules for ceiling lights? Didn't find one. Just for socket connection.
