Yes, I'm aware of that code. In fact, I use it in a different plugin that I've written. But the problem I found was that it isn't available in 0.2.1.0, only in SVN. At least when I tried last. The Config.Dir functions don't exist last time I tried because it works in the debug mode but not in the actual MP.

Once you save the setting once, it should stay that way. I have a different way that I can find the database directory, but the DB filename is hardcoded for now.

I'm going to clean up the code a bit this weekend and upload to the website v0.0.0.2 source and binaries.

Thanks for your help in tracking down bugs . Now I just need to figure out the crashes that some of the other people are experiencing.

and thank you for the plugin ... but i can´t use it here. i copied the 2 dlls into the plugin/window folder, started configuration console and found the XMMIMPORTER under plugins but clicking on the configure-button (in the XMM plugin) my configuartion.exe crashes. what could be the problem?

I've stopped work on this plugin for MediaPortal as I've gone back to using Meedio. MP just has too many problems for me to use it. It was very frustrating. I'm following the development of the TV server because I may use it when MeediOS gets developed.

The source code is available with the download, so anyone who wants to pick this up is more than welcome. I haven't tried it with the latest version of MP.
