After the setup finishes I start the TV Server, enter the MS SQL password, create the database, start the service and then I want to configure the DVB-S card. But when I click on "update satellite list" i get error messages: "Downloading transponders for:2.0°E Astra 1C failed Downloading transponders for:4.0°E Hotbird 1 failed" and so on. And Bug/Error number two: When I close the TV Server management console and start it a second time, setup starts again (not a real setup where you can click anything, more like a configuration, like sometimes in office or so: ![]() Loosely translated the error message says "The service already exists." After clicking on OK the program ends with an error message: "Heavy problem during the installation" (Original words in German: "Verknüpfungsproblem", "Schwerwiegender Fehler bei der Installation"). So... Bug or Error? Any Ideas? The computer is freshly formatted, configured as Active Directory Server and file server, nothing else. Firewall deactivated. Dot Net 1.1 and 2.0, as well as VB Runtime, of course installed. |

After clicking "ok" I don't receive any more errors, it just rolls back the installation/update. Bug 2: Because kingofsat.net is not available where MP gets some of the transponderlist. Any idea when they will be online again? |

| Hi, I found out that there is a connection between those two errors: After I install TV Server I can start the Management Console, do whatever I want, and restart it, UNLESS i click on 'update satellite list'. As soon as I click once on 'update satellite list' and exit the console, I can not restart it. |

| I guess the same thing happened to me, the last thing I remember is downloading a new satellite list and scanning, now I can't access the configuration. I had the server working for a couple of days before this happened. Is there any way to fix this other than uninstalling and reinstalling the server? Is this bug being looked at? Thanks. |
