Remote: Radio Shack RS-2117 TV: 21 Inch Sanyo SDTV TV - HTPC Connection: S-Video Sometimes I like to record shows back to back, This would also apply to a person who only has 1 card. Becuase I have 2 cards, I set up to record 4 shows. 2 on one channel and 2 on another. I have my pre/post times set at 0 and can comfirm this in the SQL database. Below is my log file... and after looking at it... it doesn't seem that bad. http://pastebin.team-mediaportal.com/11206 But the output is totally wrong. The first 2 shows recorded OK. They show up in recorded TV with a time of 29 minutes. The second shows, thats where the problem is. I was watching my record directory and it started creating the files for the new shows... and then failed and then started recording again. I am going to list out all my shows with times. Name, Size, Record time 28 NIK_The Wonder Pets!_200611030930p3032.mpg, 1189 MB, 29 Minutes 29 DISNP_Mickey Mouse Clubhouse_200611030930p3037.mpg 1186 MB, 29 Minutes 28 NIK_Go, Diego, Go!_200611031000p015.mpg, 116K, NA 29 DISNP_Handy Manny_200611031000p015.mpg, 654K, NA 28 NIK_Go, Diego, Go!_200611031000p713.mpg, 922 MB, 23 Mintues 29 DISNP_Handy Manny_200611031000p718.mpg, 925 MB, 23 Minutes I am able to Play the first 2 shows that are 29 minutes long. I am able to play the last 2 that are 23 minutes... and they are exactly 23 minutes. I will continue to test this but let me know if you need any more information.

| Portal Tester | Everything is the same as above accept for MP SVN 11545 and TV SVN 11545. I ran this test again.... and this is what I received. This time my first 2 shows recored just fine. For whatever reason, the first show was locked and would not play. I tried to play it in WMP but it says it was in use and when I clicked on it in MP, it did nothing. This could be why my second file on the same channel was only 223K in size and never recorded. I after I rebooted I was able to play that first file that was locked just fine. Both of the shows that recorded first were 30:01 in length. The second shows were 0 and 29:01. I think the second show recorded becuase it was on a different channel. I remember when I did my first test, both shows at created a smaller file but then tried to record the rest. Could it be locking the files or TV cards and not allowing them to record the second shows? Below is my log. http://pastebin.team-mediaportal.com/11234 It also looks like B on the keyboard is not working as it should. B is for stoping video and it use to go back to MP... now it just gives you a black screen. Sometimes you can get out of it by hitting ESC.. .but sometimes you just have to exit out.

| Portal Tester | Here is another set of logs on the test I just did this morning. I am using TV SVN 11603 and MP SVN 11603. This only happen when you are recording shows on the same channel. When I did the test where all the shows were on different channels... it seems to work ok. I also have a screen shot of the sizes of my shows. I also have a screen shot of my Recorded TV listing when I first come in. If I change the view.. it then only shows 2 shows. I am thinging becuase the last to never got recorded... thats why they are not listed. If you need anything else, please let me know. http://pastebin.team-mediaportal.com/11247
