Default "Unknown error occured" when starting timeshifting

TV-Server Version: Latest SVN
Windows Version: Windows XP SP2 (up to date)
CPU Type: Intel C2D 6750 @ 3.6Ghz (wc)
HDD: 3.5TB total Maxtor/WD
Memory: 2GB @ 1066Mhz
Motherboard: ASUS P5K
Motherboard Chipset: Intel
Motherboard Bios: Latest
Video Card: NVIDIA 8800 GTS 320MB
Video Card Driver: Latest Official stable
Sound Card: Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum
2. TV Card: Hauppage WinTV TvTuner (878 chip)

After not having used the TVserver for a while I've decided to installed it again after the introduction of the XBMC python script for live streaming was introduced. I haven't been able to get it working though. The TVcard works perfectly with ChrisTV (Windows) and MythTV (Linux), no problems at all. Installation and configuration works as expected with the TVserver, but when I try to start timeshifting I get a "unknown error occurred" message. I'm really hoping I can use the TVserver with my XBOX so please ask me anything that can help solving the problem.

I don't know. About most cards I know these things, but not about this one. I can't seem to find any info on hardware encoding for this card. But it is analog, that's for sure.

Ok. I've completely removed the database and TVserver installation. Installed a other TVcard (AverMedia AverTV PVR 150) which has worked before with the TVserver and still works with ChrisTV. But ut's gerenerating the axact same error. This card is analog and has hardware encoding support.

How can I do to to help narrow down the problem. I'm hoping I won't have to buy an other TVcard... The card doesn't seem to be the problem.

Hi,
Bram you need to install a encoder "AddTvEncoderFilter no encoder devices found"(from your log), about encoders check WIKI - if that doesn't work attach complete logs using MPTestTool for collecting.

Regards
Roy

I've installed the registered Professional version of Cyberlink PowerDVD 7, which includes the needed codecs. Still no luck...
