Hi Guys,
Thanks for the kind words about gpuViewer (I noticed through my logs). I can't really make this project completely open-source, if only simply because I need to eat... Yet, there are many aspects of open-source that I find positive: gpuViewer uses libraries like DCRaw, SQLite or cURL that are not only easy on my purse but also better than the competition. I'm all for giving something back. I'm not sure if there is anything I can do to help you guys or if there is any "bridging" possible between our applications, but I'd be happy to listen to any suggestion. Feel free to drop me a mail. |

Hi MP Devs,
Is this a chance to try and have a good dialogue with Jerome, the guy responsibe for this fantastic gpueviewer? Maybe Jerome could help create something for MP? MP would be a good platform for GPUviewer to be opened up to many many users in a great forum like this. Whats the feeling within MP, is this something that people want to see in the pictures section of MP. Or at least something like it? Cheers, Colin |

It would be nice, if there would be a way, to switch from TVChannels to some TVStreams from Internet, without leaving MyTV &start other Plugin.
Watch self selected TVStreams from all over the world wide web as like switching an Channel, tuned with a TVcard! that would be really comfortable! My reason is: my wife is from Vietnam and here, in Germany, we can recieve only 1 Channel from Vietnam. By Internet, we could recieve 10 TVChannels. |

How about a "timer" feature for us truly lazy fools that fall asleep in front of the tube ? You know, like the "timer" feature on TV's and stereos. YES I use the timer on the TV all the time. If it's late and I know I'm gonna be falling asleep w/ the tube on I set the timer - (saves on searching for the remote in a trance)
My 2 cents |

I support Hanks timer idea and would also like to see a solution for implementing Joost into Mediaportal, as Joost itself is no good for use on living room PC and was obviously never ment to be operated with a remote control.

I'd love to see a Wii-Mote (controller of the nintendo wii) to support menu navigation. It could be used as a pointing device as well as a motion sensor. Check out this projects:

Another idea which just came up was to support truecrypt. When you have a pin-protected folder for example, this could be bound to a truecrypt volume which has the pin as container password. This way, without the pin, you cannot even access the files on the explorer.
