Hi, I just used notepad. I think Pause/Play are the same for MediaPortal - I might have mapped pause to both buttons - check the default key mappings

for those who bought a yaocoo mce remote i've found the english version of the software for programming it, there are 4 different layers too. You can also backup the settings.
I confirm that the remote sends shortcuts to s.o., but with the software you can program a lot of commands.

Try it:
http://www.lps2u.com/SENEASY.rar

p.s. you don't need plugins

KeyBoardInputPlugin does the trick

I had the exact same problem and wasn't having any success with any of the solutions that I came across. I knew what I wanted to do, but couldn't. Then I found KeyboardInputPlugin. Did the trick first go. Only problem I had was that it points to Keyboard.xml in the default folder, but creates it in the custom. Just copy it over and off you go.

Brilliant plugin, easy and worked first go, with (almost)no messing around.

@Manuel78

I wonder if you could let me have a copy of the YaoCoo MCE remote programming software as the link doesn't work any more and I cannot find it anywhere else on the internet.

Many thanks

Russell

See if EventGhost will configure the remotes inputs.

Thanks for the reply,

I started playing about with EventGhost yesterday and it looks very good. I've always used Girder 3.3 in the past (bought it years ago) but now that all references to Girder 3 have been removed from the Promixis website including all the plugins etc I think it may be time to move on.

However, with regards to the YaoCoo remote, even using EventGhost there are some niggly problems which the remote programming software might just overcome. Just another weapon in the arsenal so to speak.

Regards

Russell
