Default enabling basic home...

In order to enable the basic home option... you need to run MediaPortal - Setup

Then under General tick the box next to "Start with basic home screen"

then click ok to save changes and exit MediaPortal Setup.

When you next start media portal it will start with the basic home page.

regards

Richard

I believe you can copy the files from bluetwo wide to get this working.. I will try and include the required files by default in the next release.

Best Regards

Hi, first up, I'd just like to say that Foofaraw is the best skin out there, it's awesome!

Secondly, I do have some issues with the skin:

- When using the home screen (not basic), the video is playing on the right hand side, in the little box. However, when using a remote, there's no way of accessing this menu (the icon on the top that looks like [] does show it fullscreen, but with the menu still in front).

- When I choose My TVSeries, the miniplayer keeps showing up in the left hand side, on the bottom (same position where it plays when in the basic home screen). This is quite annoying, as it blocks a large part of the text:

- Could you please make it so that when the music/video stops playing (say, when you press 'stop'), the mini player disappears? This is because the mini player can be quite annoying sometimes, not only in the My TVSeries screen. I do like for the mini player to keep on playing when the video/music also keeps playing, but please make it disappear when I press 'stop'.

Hope this helps.

Hi Styxie,

Thanks for your feedback, I hope to address these issues soon, but currently I am working on releasing a 0.2.3 RC1 version of the skin (16:9 16:10 and 4:3).

Nevermind, I think I've made a fix all by myself =D. With these files, the video only shows fullscreen or on the right hand side on the home screen (I've removed the thing for showing it on the left hand side).

For all the techies out there, I didn't remove the video screen, I just made it really small (1x1) and set the X-value to outside the screen.
Attached Files
File Type: xml videoOverlay.xml (3.3 KB, 25 views)
