Default How to remove the "time interval" buttons in TV guide?

Hi,

I am currently in the process of creating my own skin and I would like to remove the time interval buttons in the tv guide but I can't find how to do this. I only want to keep the day interval and be able to jump to and from that with my remote but when I remove time interval my cursor disappears when moving up.

Any ideas?

Daniel

you'll have to change the "onup" setting on the button that used to go to the controls you deleted. Each button can tell MP where to move the cursor when an arrow key is pressed. If there is no navigation instruction then it will just go to where it thinks it should. In your case, it is being told to go somewhere that doesn't exist.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be that simple. I wanted to do the same thing with the fullscreen tv guide (dialogtvguide.xml). The first thing i found out is that deleting the time spin interval control caused the day spin interval control to stop working. So i moved the time interval off screen (xpos -1000, ypos -1000). Next i tried adding the tag <onup>6</onup> to the tvguide control panel control (id 2). That changed nothing, its almost like the onup is hard coded to 8 somewhere else. I double checked this in tvguide.xml and got the same results. Feel free to verify all that; if you find a way around it, i would like to know also.

Sorry i could not be of any help.

I have the same experience. I can't find the onup tag anywhere in the xml file. So if there are any work arounds here I would be very interested...
