Looking good. There are some buggs in in it ( i know there are only a beta), here are some buggs i found and thoughts.

Mini EPG

• The glass effect on the top are to bright i think.
• The list contol counter are missplaced outside the window

Basic home screen

• When using visulation, it overlapping MY VIDEOS icon
• The icone text overlapping the icons (maybe 10-20 pix to high)

I like the animation with the MP text

My Videos

• When using film strip the lage cover do not appear.
• When using filmstrip the smal movie covers and text mix badly with the backgrund picture.
• When using list view the text mixes badly with the backgound picture.
• When using small icons view icons and text mixes badly with the backgrund picture.

why not move the backgrund picture down so the gray area under it disapear. I think this could solve much of the problem in the skin, and it should be more airy feeling

Home screen

• The are no logic when pressing up and down. Sometimes the text appear some times it don´t.
• I don´t like the big Start text in the beginning. And it reminds about MCE.

My TV

• The time for the current time are inside the TV picture.
• My Tv text in the top could have some more contast.
• The name of the day are missplaced 3-6 pix to much to the left

TV OSD

• Start and End time could have some more contrast.
• The channel loggo dont need to be that big, and the backgrund for it. Its better to use this area to program info.
• The spaceing between current program name and the program info could be bigger, feels a litle to crouded.
• Spacing to the next program name also.

EPG ( TV-guide )

• TO bright for my taste
• Ongoing programs text need more contast.
• Should be nice to have one more channel i the list
• Date need more contrast, allmost not visible

Menu list

• Very nice animation with the spinning MP logo. But it seems missplaced, it go outside the menuwindow.

mirk, you gave it a work out and you have pull out all most, all the bugs I already knew about.

Mini EPG

• This is just me being lazy. I just used the same glass as menu to overlay. But I do agree that it needs to be dulled down.
• Did not know. I made it fit the max number of channels I have in one group.

• Yes I’m going to have to do something here I don’t like how it over laps, but I can’t just move it on the home screen as it is globe(the same on all page) the is one off my major thing I need to fixs.
• Yes I left this as is, as for the above reason. I may have to change the basic home lay out a little to fit ovelay.

• I don’t ever use film strip so I’ll have a look into it
• Don’t understand what u mean with “list… mixes badly”

this is what I already had in mind.

• This was done on purpose as I needed to put it some were and this was the first place that came to mind.
• I made it not stand out on purpose, I know what page I’m in so I don’t wish to have this text stand out. If I change it this will be a globe change.
• I moved date and name of day just before I zipped the folder and didn’t check it.

• This is going to get a complete make over(along with now playing in music), but one thing I can say is that it will be staying with the same number of lines as it is the max channel listing I have in one group for my tuners.

P.S.
I’m going to have a week or 2 or even 3 of skinning, I need it or I will get sick of this skin and stop altogether. I don’t wound that. Just need a change “it’s as good as a holiday”

[NLS]

well the skin doesn't work properly for me (I use a 1920x1080 res).

I don't use simple menu (and don't want to) and the full menu is just a LARGE text of the current menu choice while the picture is lost somewhere in the bottom right (something like if the skin in fact is scaled 3840x2160 )

sorry no screen grab yet, any thoughts?

I think fathead has a good idea here. I love the look of a photograph as a background as i am somewhat of a photographer myself. It would be great if you could change the feel of MP depending on the season, weather, your mood, etc.

Keep up the great work on this skin, one of my favorites so far!

You can use whatever background image you want as long as you make it a .png and size it correctly.
