LCARS Wide (16:9)

I´m nearly finished with the 16:9 version of LCARS (LCARS Wide) and will release it very soon. There will be a lot of amazing screen animations for a REAL Startrek feeling (scrolling lines in the upper screen, randomly changing status buttons on Basichome and Home screens as well as in many other screens).

LCARS Wide will support all standard plugins of MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 final, plus:

Further to this, I'd love to release a myVoice theme that would complement this, but I'm unsure of the copyright. The sounds are easily found on google. Any thoughts? (sorry if I'm hijacking, but you've got me pumped from your description )

My big TV room is starting to look more Star Trekkie every day.
Nice to have the LCARS skin on the big screen, and next to it on the wall one of the big banners from the Las Vegas convention signed by 24 of the actors from TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT.

And now the Bugs update after playing with this skin. And I must admit, this version of LCARS with the new graphics and changing pictures looks fantastic.

- DVD in main menu has no display picture when selected
- Play DVD (full screen) nothing there just: missing or invalid ..............\LCARS Wide\Dialogselect2.xml
-TV (TVE3) no background picture
-TV (TVE3) TV ON button different sized than other buttons
-TV (TVE3) TV show name scrolls at 2 different locations above the tv display window.

TV only works in full screen on my PC, when I enter MyTV I just see a black box where TV is supposed to be (I do get audio). I also don't get TV picture on the Home screen when time-shift is enabled, just audio . I use the internal TV engine and I have enabled DX exclusive mode (in case that matters).

I started my tricorder and found the respective bugs.

So here are the bugfixes ready to beam.

Please overwrite the XMLs in your skin folder ...\Skin\LCARS Wide with the ones delivered in the ZIP.
Please copy the PNG into your folder ...\Skin\LCARS Wide\Media.

to be honest I have no idea why you have this trouble with this skin. Here everything works fine. Maybe it is the DX exclusive mode? I never tested this.

I have tested it some more and this only happens when timeshift is enabled. If I go to MyTV and disable timeshift, TV picture is there, if I enable timeshift all I get is a black box . This only happens with your skin, not with BlueTwo (wide or regular). It's weird.

Yes it´s more than weird - I just encountered one line in MYTVHOME.XML causing this error (allowing overlays was set to "yes", but must be set to "no")
