New style created, because i have seen the new sony tv for playstation 3 and... its looks similar to the mars skin

Today i have seen the new dashboard for the microsoft xbox360 (comes fall 2008), and has me very impressed!
i have now created a test home screen with this style, please let me know if you like it because i dont finish the started "old" mars skin - i dont like to copy another tv skin

The skin is designed for widescreen resolution and should be "simple", stylish and EASY to use.

Main aspects of this skin are:

1. Best screen resolution for the main elements (WideScreen)
2. Has no controls for use with the mouse (spin controls etc.)
3. Has no buttons for special things like change the audio channel etc.
4. Optimized for remote control
5. Hi WAF factor
6. 16:9

INFO:
I had all skinfile graphics reduced from 1080 pixel resolution to the 786 pixel resolution!
Why i had done this?

- The memory that MP had used was about 600 - 700 MB ( and not all graphics was in 1080!)
- All skin files needs a update for 1080p... a lot of work for all the plugin developers, so we can use the original skin files with a few modification

• Creating all needed graphics for the skin elements
• Checking the font size and the positions
• Updating some colors from the fonts
• Removing all mouse controls from the spin controls

Are you the same guy I was talking to about decompiling some time ago ???? 1$ P**n ???

Anyway, great looking piece of work. It will be very interesting to see exactly what you have in mind for the main Home screens. If you need any help give me a shout.
It would be good if you could press a button at any time to get on screen data, Screen resolution (current), video resolution and codec, audio stream and codec etc.
These features would be VERY handy for me. I dont know quite how you would do that but hopefully someone will come along and give you a YES or NO.

i'm not shure, but i think that this informations are not given by the tv plugin
i must check first if its possible to inherit the methods/classes from the tv plugin to create a special one which are extended with more information...

but this is step 2

I think that you may be right about the TV plugin
Would be good to have the info on videos and music though. Always good to know as there are so many different types of video/audio formats these days.

It was to do with the methods of getting the steppovers correct and being able to find the keys.
Cant really remember to much now as it was many moons ago.
I just remember your name and thought that there couldn't be two MoPhat's ??

I do like the look of that and it seems like a design that quite a few people would like.

I have a tiny amount of skinning exp. I have basically only altered other peoples skins to get my own to what I want. I haven't actually built a skin from scratch but I am a graphic designer by trade, as well as a 3D modeller/animator
Fully trained up in the 3D arena, it is where my passion is.

The key/password was to the rar file that the program was compiled to supply the keys for. It was all quite interesting and I can't for the life of me find the post, or remember the forum that it was on

I remeber using hex edit, UPX, PEiD, Winhex and OllyDBG. The program basically took the code that you were given, if you purchased the P**n, and recovered the password and user in OllyDBG.
