Default New Design.

Hello.
Glutton for punishment here.
I wanted to make a more simple skin. Something more elegant so here is my start...

The buttons look out of place, but I would guess you know this already.

I really like the background, actually.

Another version with more pleasing layout.

A question if I may.

The images I have displayed on the main page also appear on secondary pages like 'my TV' and even if I delete the images from the page (using the media Portal skin editor), they re-appear. Where do I find them? In another piece of XML code I presume but need help finding it.

Also, is there a tutorial or link to help on adding new fonts?

I don't know why, but the images you have shown us so far have almost a classic (like ancient Rome) feel to them. I can't wait once to start to modify the fonts and other attributes.

I like your work!

Is that background a curtain?

Looks good. I like the buttons where you put them on the second draft.

Keep up the good work

Great work Glenn, I like the idea behind this one. Are you looking at 16x9?
